Slaney Babies is our children’s dance academy’s movement class for babies aged 3. If your pre-school child is excited by music or can’t seem to stop wiggling, Slaney Babies is an introductory dance class which allows the little ones to move to music, enjoy themselves with other toddlers whilst experiencing their first ever taste of what it’s like to be part of a dance academy.

Perhaps you’re keen for your child to develop a healthy hobby – at Slaneyside School of Dancing, we provide children of all ages with ballet, tap and modern/jazz classes which your toddler can progress to when they get older.

An Introductory Dance Class for Babies

Slaney Babies is a movement class for pre-school girls and boys which is loosely inspired by ballet practices. Your toddler will explore storytelling through movement and mime – inspire your child’s imagination as they adventure through the jungle, swim through the ocean and explore a magical castle! They will also discover moves such as pointing their toes, jumping, skipping, hopping, wiggling and balancing, all completed to music.

This class is designed to be your pre-school child’s first ever dance class – whilst the main aim is to have fun, your baby will naturally gain an awareness of music and rhythm whilst enjoying their first hobby which they may choose to develop further with the opportunity to progress through our other children’s dance classes as they grow.
